A Gryffindor student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hermione is considered one of the brightest witches of her age, and this is a title she works hard to maintain. Although her efforts have led to frequent teasing, her best friends Harry and Ron often rely on her help when it comes to school work. With a sharp memory and an even sharper mind, it is usually Hermione who concocts the plans that the trio end up following. She makes mistakes, and has trouble keeping her head in a crisis, but Hermione does usually manage to come up with the best course of action Though unwilling to break the school rules, she will do so if necessary. It took her a while to come to the conclusion that there were worse things than being expelled, but she got there eventually. She's brave, and loyal, but when it comes to other people, Hermione is far from comfortable. She can be naive, and rather insensitive. The false confidence she portrays may annoy some people, but it hides a lot of uncertainty and insecurity underneath.</center> Her intelligence has proved instrumental during her many adventures at Hogwarts, including the quest to destroy Voldemort's horcruxes in her seventh year.
